LEADERSHIP APPLICATION
Student leadership positions for the 2020-21 school year are Drum Major, Section Leader, Rank Leader, and Mentor. You must be enrolled in band class and commit to after school rehearsals to hold a leadership position.
CONDUCTING DEMONSTRATION - (Drum Major applicants only)
Submit a video of yourself conducting these two songs. The video should show your face and hands and the music should be audible. There is no click track, so start the recording and join in. Videos can be submitted through email ([email protected]), through Remind, or on Schoology.

- Steady beat
- Entrance cues (visualize where a section would be in concert arcs - location is not important for this video)
- Long note/end of phrase cutoffs
(#2 is a medley; just do the first 1:23 and cut off at the drum break)
