LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (no instrument required)
This activity is being provided to benefit band students whose schools are closed and to help them make their bands stronger when they return. It is intended to give you ideas regarding student leadership to make you a better candidate for leadership positions like Drum Major, Section Leader, Rank Leader, etc., or just to be a strong upperclassman to help build up our new members.
In a normal year we would already be working on Drum Major auditions by mid-April, so let's take advantage of the time we have and build for the future. These units are similar to Olweus lessons; watch a short video, complete the quiz, and attend a Zoom meeting to participate in a group discussion. You will receive full credit for the week by submitting the Google Form quiz. The meeting is not required, but is HIGHLY recommended - we will grow more from sharing ideas than from just completing an online quiz.
