This class is where you develop your skills on the various percussion instruments. You are eligible for this class whether you played in middle school or not.

- SNARE DRUM - the basic flat, single instrument we use to learn to read rhythms and control your sticks.
- MALLET INSTRUMENTS - all the instruments that have keys arranged in the same configuration as a piano, played with mallets. We use these instruments to play melodies and learn to read notes on the treble clef treble clef staff.
- TIMPANI - the biggest drums that play adjustable bass line notes.
- DRUM SET - the one person set of differently sized drums and cymbal played in combinations to create beats.
