2024 COLOR GUARD

Eligibility: Any student in the SMHS attendance area who will be in grades 8-12 for the 2024-25 school year may audition. Mandatory after school practice begins the first week of school and is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00.

- Attend summer rehearsals and Band Camp. All students participating in Marching Band must have a WVSSAC Sports Physical form dated May 1, 2024 or later on file with the Band Director by the start of Band Camp to participate.
- Students who already play a band instrument or want to learn may enroll in a band class but are not required to.
Practice Dates:
Pre-camp: July 29-August 2: 10:00 a.m.-Noon
Band Camp: August 5-9, all day; August 12-16, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
